About Kelsey Monaghan

I am a qualified primary school teacher with a specialism in Early Childhood Education and experience supporting children across all primary age ranges and abilities. I currently work in a primary school supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.

I believe learning should be fun, engaging and positive. I build strong, trusting relationships with children so learning can be tailored to their interests, strengths and goals, helping them grow in confidence as well as skill.

I understand that some children may feel anxious or reluctant about learning. As an educator, I provide a calm, patient and encouraging environment where children feel safe to try, make mistakes and succeed. Sessions are interactive, supportive and carefully paced.

In my free time, I’m a big kid at heart and enjoy reading, discovering new films, travelling, mindfulness colouring and playing video games.

Tutoring is a partnership. I work closely with children and families to ensure progress is clear, achievable and celebrated, with the goal of helping every child feel confident and happy in their learning.
